Also, the MTA is considering the F and V swap
Starting December, the F and M switch 53rd/63rd Streets (F via 53rd and M via 63rd), the M will turn into the V cue thunder and run 24 stops, same as it did between December 2001 and June 25th, 2010. A new Myrtle Shuttle runs between Myrtle & Metropolitan and the J and Z become deinterlined allowing CBTC 🤑🤑🤑 to be installed. The V will run weekdays, and the B and D would run to 34th. The F would be the only 6th Avenue line to Brooklyn so the W gets extended

The M ran on Nassau Street until 2010
The V existed between 2001 and 2010, and both V and M were merged to create the 6th Avenue M. Basically, service would split, the “Nassau Street M” would be a shuttle and the V would be reinstated like the W in 2016

Delaney Street gets crowded Fs and crowds rush to Essex Street, transferring to a J or Z, which thus transfers to the Shuttle at Myrtle
The Broadway el is screwed if this happens and the F, J and Z gain crowds

Yes. The F would basically be the 1st half of the crowding (and the worst), which transfer to the J and/or Z (which would be equally crowded), the 3rd and final phase is to transfer to the shuttle (which delays Z service)
